What is a Physiotherapist?

Physiotherapists are university trained and are experts in injury diagnosis, injury treatment, exercise prescription, injury prevention, rehabilitation and many other areas of sport and health and fitness.

What do I need to bring?

At your first appointment we will ask you to provide your previous medical history. If you have them and if they are relevant, bring scan/MRI reports, and  a medication list. You may wish to bring your footwear if it is an activity-related issue, shorts and a vest top. Wear loose, non-restricting clothes, you may need to undress down to your underwear with back, neck and shoulder problems.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the individual and what is required. After a thorough assessment, we will discuss your treatment plan and make recommendations.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Depending on the treatment modality and area treated, you might be asked to undress into your underwear / shorts. Some treatment modalities we use don't require this. If you stay fully dressed, please wear comfortable and loose clothing.
